What’s behind our name?

  • We are a fully operational domestic producer with multiple manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, including our headquarters in Belding, MI. While we are part of the global Metra group, we don't just warehouse products; we extrude and finish them locally.

  • Yes. Metra North America is a completely integrated operational unit. From initial extrusion to final finishing, our processes are handled right here in our North American facilities, ensuring we remain a domestic producer that avoids the common pitfalls and tariffs of overseas shipping.

  • Our facilities are vertically integrated, offering on-site and subcontractor anodizing and other finishing operations. We are certified applicators of acrylic and PVDF coating systems, meeting high industry standards such as AAMA 2603 and AAMA 2604.

  • To better serve the market, we unified several independent producers—including facilities in Belding, MI; Kentwood, MI; Alma, MI; Rome, GA; and Laval, Quebec—under the Metra North America brand. This consolidation provides our customers with expanded plant capabilities and a stronger domestic footprint. Read more about our unified company.
